OUR VISION
Welcome to Painted Palms!
I’m Ellie, and I want to take a moment to introduce myself and give you a feel for what we’re all about...
I’m a trained art teacher and spent several years helping students explore their creativity while developing and honing their artistic skills. Alongside my teaching, I worked as a printmaker, drawing inspiration from the natural world—especially from the sea & mountains.
While I loved teaching, I always dreamed of creating a wider, community-driven space where people could enjoy art in a more relaxed and social environment.
Taking the leap to start my own business has allowed me to bring this vision to life. Painted Palms is all about providing a welcoming space where people can reconnect with their creativity, socialise, unwind, and have fun while learning something new.
We offer a variety of structured workshops, including painting, life drawing, and printing, designed for all skill levels. Whether you’re a complete beginner or have artistic experience, our sessions encourage exploration, creativity, and self-expression in a friendly, supportive atmosphere. Each workshop is teacher-led but allows plenty of room for experimentation.
Our workshops take place in coffee shops, galleries, wine & cocktail bars, pubs and more—all perfect for a laid-back, social experience where you can relax, get creative, and, most importantly, have fun!

WHAT WE OFFER
Creative workshops - We run a variety of creative workshops. Some of these include, Painting, Printing, Life drawing, Gift wrapping and Greeting card design. All our classes are two hours long and include all the materials you’ll need to go home with a creation you are proud of.
Private events - We are excited to run private events. These include workshops for special occasions, corporate events and birthdays. We offer private events in any technique of your choice. This may vary in the price but please contact us to find out more and book an event at: info@painted-palms.com
Wellness mornings - Our newest event. We have started teaming up with local yoga instructors to create restorative, wellness based events which are usually held in the morning, in nature. These sessions usually start with a sea swim followed by mindful drawing, yoga and meditation.
